| | Apparently rental cars are germ city, and so the Today Show decided to go to one of the biggest rental car hubs in America: Miami. Random cars from different agencies were taken to some sort of lab and tested for all kinds of grossness. What the official guy in the lab coat found was not only the usual - sticky residue, crumbs, vomit - but that four out of the six vehicles contained high counts of bacteria, as much as a public restroom, on places like the steering wheel and gear shift. They also found the stuff that causes strept throat all over areas like the child seat and door handle. |
| Imagine a vehicle interior that’s clean, mold, bacteria, odor and germ free, that also self cleans the air. Carpets and seats are no longer soiled and Viruses and Bacteria no longer scare us. No this is not the future, these things, with DrivePur™, are a reality today. It may be lurking within the confines of every automobile without the owner's knowledge. It may smell like last week's lunch. Either way, sick car syndrome has become a reality and its effects may be more harmful to the health of passengers than just a distinctive odor. Sick car syndrome is a symptom that occurs from prolonged exposure to microbes that grow in automobile interiors, The presence of the microbes causes similar reactions as sick building syndrome. | |
