2019 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe New Athletic Design
There have been some significant updates to both the Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe, allowing for more premium features and a sportier style at an affordable price that is sure to draw attention. The biggest highlight is the 2019 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe new athletic design, which includes a new Sport trim level.
2019 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe Sportier Style
Already featuring an aggressive and bold design, the Honda Civic has been restyled to offer an even sportier design. The updates include a new piano black upper fascia “wing,” restyled lower fascia, bumper and lower grille, a full-width front splitter, chrome side pod accents and upgraded halogen or LED headlights. The 2019 Civic Sedan also features a chrome accent on the lower rear bumper, and there are new wheel designs for both the sedan and coupe.
But that’s not all; there is also a new Civic Sport trim level for the sedan and coupe, which will be between the LX and EX trims. The Sport adds more attitude and personality with a piano black lower front fascia, side pod accents and a splitter-style rear lower bumper with a chrome polygonal exhaust finisher. And the Sedan adds a rear decklid spoiler as well. Plus, there are larger 18-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels with Berlina Black finish. Not to mention that the Civic Sport is equipped with a high-revving 2.0-Liter DOHC VTEC® engine that is paired either with CVT with G-Shift Control or 6-speed manual transmission. It also includes the updated 7-inch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™.
2019 Honda Civic Sedan and Coupe Updated Features
Along with the new Sport trim, Honda has added more standard features to the Civic. In fact, every 2019 Civic Sedan and Coupe model will be equipped with the intuitive Honda Sensing® technologies. This includes the advanced driver-assistive systems: Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning, Road Departure Mitigation with Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System and Adaptive Cruise Control. The suite of safety technologies will be standard or available on each of the 2019 models as a way to further Honda’s goal of having Honda Sensing® on every vehicle by the 2022 model year.
